Toronto Raptors GM Masai Ujiri actually went so far as thanking Trump for making Toronto an unbelievable sports destination. The Raptors have rarely been a high-profile destination for big free agents, but with Trump heading for the White House, that maybe about to change.
In addition, big name movie stars are beginning to flood Toronto although Trump’s election isn’t the main cause.
Actors such as Robert De Niro, Christopher Walken, Idris Elba and Kevin Costner and Director Aaron Sorkin are all scheduled to shoot movies in Toronto over the next couple of months.
