Seems it was not a drone that caused an Ottawa to Toronto Porter flight to take evasive action as it was descending into Billy Bishop Airport last week.

The Transportation Safety Board says while investigators initially thought it may have been a drone, they now say it’s unlikely because it was flying higher and farther out from shore than most drones can go.
Initially, the pilots believed what they saw at around 9,000 feet over the lake near Pickering November 14 might have been a balloon.
Not wanting to take any chances, they dodged the object and two flight attendants suffered minor injuries.
None of the passengers was hurt.
The incident will be added to a database but no formal report will be filed.
