Thornhill’s Milos Raonic is through to the quarter finals of the Australian Open.
Roanic, who is seeded 3rd, took out Spain’s Roberto Butista Agut in four sets in a match that ended about 5:15 am our time.
Raonic’s path to the final was made somewhat easier over the weekend when Number 1 seed Andy Murray was eliminated. Last week the number 2 seed Novak Djokavic was also eliminated. However Roger Federer and Raphael Nadal are still in the mix.
