It happened shortly before 1 p.m. above the Promenades Saint-Bruno shopping centre.
One landed on the roof, the other in the parking lot.
The Transportation Safety Board says both were Cessna 152 aircraft operated by Cargair, a pilot training school in nearby Longueil.
Police do not yet know the cause.
The shopping mall was evacuated and is closed.
