TRUMP STUNNED BY LACK OF SUPPORT: ORDERS HEALTHCARE BILL PULLED

A humiliating day for the new U.S. President.

Republican leaders have abruptly yanked their troubled health care overhaul bill off the House floor.

The bill wasn’t going to get enough votes to pass and the party was eager to avoid a crushing defeat for President Donald Trump and GOP leaders.

House Speaker Paul Ryan pulled the legislation after Trump called him – and asked him to halt debate without a vote.

Just the day before, Trump had demanded a House vote and said if the measure lost – he would drop it and move on to other issues.
