If you’re a baker and use a popular brand of flour, this will be of interest.
The Canadian Food Inspection agency says 10,000, 10-kilogram bags of Robin Hood Original All Purpose Flour are being recalled.
An outbreak of E coli O 1-1- has been linked to it.
There have been 26 cases of people being infected with this bacteria in B.C., Saskatchewan, Alberta, Newfoundland and Labrador.
At least six required hospital care.
The C-F-I-A says all bags that have not been sold are off store shelves but it’s not clear how many are in the hands of consumers.
The recall applies to bags with a ‘best before date’ of April 17, 2018 and the production code 6-2-9-1 5-4-8.
The food inspection agency says if you have it to either throw the flour out or take it back for a refund.
It’s possible additional products may be linked to the outbreak.
