When the mayor sits down Tuesday in Toronto with the federal and Ontario finance ministers, John Tory plans to bring up three priorities.

He says he intends to discuss the lagging rental supply, a possible vacant property tax and lack of real estate data.
Just last week, the governor of the Bank of Canada warned of growing speculation in the local housing market and said that a correction could be felt in other parts of the country.
Provincial Finance Minister Charles Sousa’s expected to address the issue in his budget next week after hinting he will aim to tackle speculation.
