The public, especially in Halton Region, is being urged to check personal properties and other buildings for Helen Robertson.
The 79-year-old went missing from her Burlington home last July and this past weekend city staff found a brown leather Fossil brand wallet inside a fenced field at Norton Park, near Dundas Street and Walkers Line.
Police believe it was left there after being found somewhere else.
They’re pleading with the person or persons who discarded it to come forward so they can follow the trail and hopefully find Robertson.
Call either Halton Police at 905-825-4747 ext 2385 or Crime Stoppers.
