UBER 'DRIVERLESS CAR' RESEARCH COMES TO TORONTO

Uber’s third hub, devoted to researching driverless car technology is coming to Toronto, the first time outside the United States.
Leading the project is The University of Toronto’s Raquel Urtasun, a computer science professor who holds the Canada Research Chair in machine learning and computer vision.
The goal is to make vehicles and other machines perceive the world around them more accurately and efficiently.
