Arguably the most famous goal in Canadian hockey history is now found on a stamp.
Canada Post has unveiled the stamp showing Paul Henderson, arms in the air, hugged by Yvan Cournoyer, right after scoring the goal versus the then Soviet Union in the 1972 Summit Series.

It’s one of 10 maple-leaf-shaped stamps marking significant moments in the last 50 years being released as part of Canada’s 150th anniversary.
The series also commemorates the completion of the Trans-Canada Highway, Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope, and other historic events.
