400 members of the Public Service Alliance of Canada have been locked out after rejecting a tentative contract settlement and then failing to reach an agreement with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Colporation by midnight Thursday.
The union says it sent a revised offer to the OLG on Wednesday but that was rejected by the employer.
PSAC says more than 60% of the workers are part-time but many of them work full-time hours but are refused full-time employment.
As a result of the labour dispute, the electronic poker room at Woodbine will be closed and the onsite courtesy shuttle will be unavailable.
