U.S. FIRST LADY'S FIRST SOLO TRIP TO - TORONTO

Melania Trump will lead the American delegation to the Invictus Games which will be held in Toronto in late September.

In a statement released by the White House, the wife of the president says she is ”honoured” to represent her country at this year’s event.
“I was heartened by the great success of the inaugural Invictus Games that took place in London in 2015, and the second games in Orlando last year,” Trump said in the statement.
The first games actually took place in London in 2014.

Founded by Prince Harry, they’re  an international event for wounded, injured or sick service personnel and veterans.
There are 550 athletes from 17 countries who will compete in 12 sports at venues throughout Toronto September 23 to 30.
Canada and the U.S. will each have 90 athletes taking part.
