The Washington Post reports American intelligence officials have assessed that, a decade after North Korea’s first nuclear test explosion, it’s come up with nuclear weapons for ballistic missiles capable of reaching the U.S. mainland.
Japan’s Defence Ministry has concluded in an annual white paper released Tuesday that ”it is possible that North Korea has achieved the miniaturization of nuclear weapons and has developed nuclear warheads.”
Concern in Washington has intensified after North Korea conducted two tests of intercontinental ballistic missiles for the first time last month.
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump’s warned the North against making any further threats against the U.S.
”They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.”
