Aretha Franklin, who announced in February that this would be her final year of concerts, has revealed more of her retirement plans.
The 75-year-old singing legend, who recorded 17 Top Ten pop singles and 20 chart toppers, says she’s going to move from her longtime Bloomfield Hills home back into Detroit – and wants to open a nightclub where she’d occasionally sing.

”In my retirement plan, I’d like to have a small club here in Detroit.”
The name?
What do you think?
”It would be Aretha’s!,” said Franklin.
“From time to time I would sing, and of course, I would have special artists come in to perform for the city that people in Detroit like – Detroit favourites.”
She’s finishing a new CD which will be produced by Clive Davis.
