One of the most successful movie franchises in history has added a royal element to Princess Leia with the real deal, Prince William and Prince Harry, being given lines for their cameo roles as storm troopers in “The Last Jedi” which is due out in Canada, December 17.
It’s not clear if the the Princes’ part made the final cut, however, they were on set for the not-so-top-secret filming at England’s Pinewood Studios last spring.
The scene occurs in an an elevator where Benicio del Toro’s character is joined by a group of Storm troopers two of whom were, at the time, rumoured to be the royal brothers.
It’s also not the first time the franchise has seen cameo appearances – James Bond star Daniel Craig appeared in “The Force Awakens.”  He’s listed in the credits as Storm trooper JB-007 in a nod to his famous secret agent credentials.
