The Trudeau Liberals are hoping to get a a clearer picture of just how many military vets take their own lives.

To that end, National Defence and Veteran Affairs Canada have released a prevention strategy.

Veterans Affairs Minister Seamus O’Regan says it will not ”prevent every suicide,” but that the aim’s to ”reduce risks” and increase ”resilience among our comrades.”

He adds nobody has all the answers, no strategy’s going to solve all the problems but that this is a ”big step forward.”
