The names of artists or groups that may enter the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame have been released.

There are 19 nominees from various musical genres, including Bon Jovi, The Cars, J. Geils Band, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan and The Zombies.

Nine of the Class of 2018 nominees are first-timers, including Dire Straits, Eurythmics, The Moody Blues.

To be eligible, an artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of induction, so no later than 1992.

You go online at rockhall.com/vote to cast votes until December 5 for who you think is most deserving.

The top five artists selected will comprise a ”fan’s ballot,” that’ll be counted along with the others from the international body of more than 900 artists, historians and members of the music industry.

The induction ceremony will be held April 14, 2018 in Cleveland.
