Those traveling by motor vehicle car this long weekend will want to be on their best behaviour.

The Ontario Provincial Police, in conjunction with police services right across the country, is conducting “Operation Impact” looking for aggressive, distracted or impaired drivers and those not wearing seat belts.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says the aim is to save lives.

Operation Impact runs right through the Thanksgiving long weekend.
