Former Republican fundraiser Kelly Craft has formally begun her new job as American ambassador to Canada.

”Surely there is no better posting than Canada.”
As delicate talks continue on the North American Free Trade Agreement, Craft says she’ll work to promote a strong economic relationship and collaboration on security at the border, while at the same time making trade and travel easier.
She adds she plans to cross the country, meet with politicians and community leaders to gain a deeper understanding of the ”dynamic, multicultural society.”
Craft and coal magnate husband Joe Craft, both supported Donald Trump during the last presidential election campaign.
