School’s still out for half-a-million college students across Ontario after striking faculty voted overwhelmingly to reject the latest contract offer from the College Employer Council (CEC).
Results released late Thursday morning show 95% of all eligible members voted, and that 86% turned it down.
Talks, which broke down November 4, have now resumed at the request of the premier, who met with representatives from both sides following the release of the results.
A media blackout is now in place meaning neither side is commenting on the status of the negotiations.
