Scheer says the Tory caucus has lost faith in the Toronto Centre MP.
”If Bill Morneau doesn’t want to be accountable to Parliament, then Justin Trudeau needs to find someone who will answer questions, that’s how our democracy works,” the Tory leader told reporters outside the House of Commons.

During Question Period, the finance minister again threatened to sue the Conservatives over their repeated allegations that he improperly sold ff shares in the family business in 2015 ahead of an income tax change which saw the stock market drop.
”As everybody knows except for perhaps the Opposition, nobody knows about the stock market in advance.  So Mr. Speaker if the members opposite have something they want to say, they should say it here, say it now clearly and in the foyer (outside the Commons).”
MPs are granted protection against civil or criminal liability for actions and statements made inside the Commons.
