A recently discovered notebook is shedding new light on the death of band leader and music legend Glenn Miller, which remains one of the enduring mysteries of World War II.

Miller’s plane vanished over the English Channel on a flight to Paris in 1944.

U.S. historian Dennis Sprague has written a book called “Glenn Miller Declassified” which uses information from a notebook by plane spotter Richard Anderton that has Miller’s plane heading south east near Maidenhead, England.
The conclusion; Miller’s plane crashed due to bad weather, mechanical problems and human error.  However, the wreckage has never been found.
