The British actor who played the outlaw Dr. Evazan in the very first star wars film has died at the age of 87.
Alfie Curtis, played the wanted outlaw who attempted to intimidate Luke Skywalker when he visited the Mos Eisley Cantina.
According to the story line on the Star Wars website, Evazan was once a promising surgeon, but was forced to turn to smuggling after being exposed for engaging in cruel medical experiments.
Mark Hamill, who played Skywalker, tweeted, “As horrific as he was on-camera, off-camera he was funny, kind & a real gentleman.”
