COLD WEATHER SHORTENS NEW YEAR'S EVE PLANS AT NATHAN PHILLIPS SQUARE

The cold snap will make for a shorter New Year’s Eve celebration at Nathan Phillips Square.

It will now start just before midnight with a live DJ set, followed by a countdown to fireworks at midnight, as planned.
The City will keep monitoring weather conditions and make adjustments if necessary.
