Male actors are joining the silent protest by wearing black alongside their female counterparts at next month’s Golden Globe Awards. A few dozen male celebrities have stated they’ll wear black on the red carpet in solidarity with their female counterparts against the ongoing sexual harassment and assault scandal in the industry.
Zoomer entertainment legends Carol Burnett and Shirley MacLaine are among the presenters confirmed for the awards show.
Oprah Winfrey will also be on hand but she’s accepting one; the annual Cecil B. DeMille Award that recognizes an outstanding contributor to entertainment.
The 75th Golden Globe ceremony takes place January 7th.
