BOWER'S GRANDSON TO PAY TRIBUTE TO LEAFS LEGEND AT ACC WEDNESDAY

Johnny Bower’s grandson and team president Brendan Shanahan will be among those addressing Wednesday afternoon’s service for the late Leafs Hall of Fame goalie, who died of pneumonia Boxing Day.
The Celebration of Life will get underway Wednesday at 3 p.m.
Doors open to the public at 2 p.m.
Seating in the stands is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Seating on the floor will be reserved for family and special guests, including members of the hockey team, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, alumni and officials from the NHL.
Former teammates Dave Keon, Ron Ellis and Frank Mahovlich will also attend.
The 48th Highlanders, who’ve played at every home opener since 1931, will also be involved.
