A founding member of British band The Moody Blues, has died.
Ray Thomas was 76.  His death comes just months before the band is due to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Thomas’ flute solo on “Nights in White Satin” is one of the bands defining moments.
Thomas died suddenly at his home south of London and while no cause was given, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2014.
