As Mayor John Tory met with owners of businesses in the King Street Transit pilot project area – the city’s announced it’s offering up to two hours of free parking – to support businesses in the area.

Toronto’s also adding 90 parking spots on side streets – is  providing additional locations for passenger pick-ups and drop offs – and loading and delivery zones in the theatre district, First Canadian Place and between Yonge and Church Streets.

The timing of the traffic signals have also been adjusted at Bathurst, Church and Jarvis Street –  for vehicles that are turning.
