The judge is set to deliver his verdict tomorrow in the case of David Livingston, Chief of Staff to former Premier Dalton McGuinty, and his deputy Laura Miller.
They’re accused of attempted mischief and illegal use of a computer.
During the trial last fall, the prosecution claimed the couple had gone to ”extraordinary lengths” to wipe the contents of computer hard drives in the premier’s office to make sure no records existed related to the cancellation of gas plants in Oakville and Missauga.
The plug was pulled just ahead of the election in 2011.
The verdict will come less than five months away from the next election.
