An auction of Sci fi memorabilia yesterday in England, that we’ve been following this week, hit total sales of $90,000.  Among the more popular items, an undershirt worn by William Shatner in the Star Trek movie ‘Wrath of Kahn” fetched almost $5,000 Canadian dollars.
A Jean-Luc Picard costume from” Star Trek: Nemesis”, including an undershirt worn by Sir Patrick Stewart, also sold for just under $5,000.  A Cyberman helmet, believed to have come from a 1968 episode of “Dr Who” was expected to fetch more than $17,000 but it was withdrawn.
Some of the props for sale were almost burned by Paramount studios in the 1980’s.
