After a six-year OPP investigation into possible criminal activity inside the province’s air ambulance service, ORNGE, no criminal charges will be laid.
Provincial police say there’s ”insufficient evidence” to do so.

The investigation was launched at the request of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care.
Police investigated ”financial irregularities” involving senior employees at ORNGE; specifically companies set up by Chris Mazza, former head of the ambulance service and allegations of kickbacks in the purchase of helicopters.
The controversy over high salaries, questionable spending and business practices cost Mazza and many top air ambulance service their jobs.
