Earlier in the day he said he is not putting himself ahead of the party.
Appearing on Zoomer Radio’s ”Fight Back” with Libby Znaimer, Brown said he is not being selfish, adding what would divide the party would be if it lost the election in June.

”Everywhere I go in Ontario, whether it’s at a gas station, whether it’s at a coffee shop, people are coming up to me and saying ‘We want you to fight’.  And frankly, you get knocked down, you stand back up and you fight for what you know is right.  And that’s what I’m doing,” Brown told Zoomer Radio.
There’s a leadership debate Wednesday February 28th in Ottawa.
Party members begin voting online March 2 with the new leader announced eight days later.
