The Elora Singers and Elora Festival have announced that renowned choral conductor and music director Mark Vuorinen is Interim Artistic Director for both organizations, effective immediately.

Vourinen was most recently recently guest conductor for The Elora Singers “Soup Concert.”  He is currently the Artistic Director of Kitchener-Waterloo’s Grand Philharmonic Choir and Assistant Professor of Music at Conrad Grebel University College at the University of Waterloo.

Conductor and and Artistic Director, Noel Edison, is on a leave of absence while an independent third party investigation is conducted into sexual misconduct allegations against him.
