A Toronto judge is expected to announce shortly if he will extend the deadline for voting in the provincial Tory leadership contest.
The last minute hearing came amid complaints from members about problems casting their online ballots.
The deadline to do so was noon today.
According to party officials, as of early this afternoon, over 64,000 had voted.
A lawyer is seeking an injunction that would extend voting by one week.
If request is denied by the judge, then the winner would be announced Saturday afternoon as scheduled.
And listen for Zoomer Media’s Libby Znaimer who will have special reports on the Tories next leader.
