He’s not sure yet, but former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr says it means a lot to be knighted for his services to music at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
”It means recognition for the things we’ve done.”
The 77-year-old Ringo, who’s real name is Richard Starkey, received his long awaited knighthood from Prince William.
It comes 53 years after the Fab Four were all awarded the MBE – Member of the British Empire.

Starr says he missed his bandmates this time round.
”I was a bit shaky today on my own.”
He knows what he’s going to do with it.
”I’ll be wearing it at breakfast,” Starr joked.
The honour comes 21 years after fellow Beatle Paul McCartney was knighted.
