Good news for boaters who use the Trent-Severn Waterway.
It opens tomorrow for the season.
The waterway stretches from Trenton to Port Severn – and the 44 locks along the 386-kilometre-long system – will operate each day until October 8th.
Officials say just over 161-thousand vessels used the waterway last year – an increase of almost 40,000 from the year before – even though many of the locks didn’t open until June in 2017.
