A Boeing 737 crashed just after takeoff from Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport with 113 aboard – 104 passengers and nine crew members.
At least three survived and are reportedly in critical condition.

The plane was headed for the eastern Cuban city of Holguin.
The jet was rented and operated by Cubana, which has removed many of its aging planes out of service in recent months dues to mechanical issues.
The last Cubana crash was September 1989 when a chartered plane flying from Havana to Milan went down soon after takeoff, killing all 126 on board as well as at least two dozen on the ground.
