MOST CITY OF TORONTO BEACHES OPEN THIS SATURDAY

Summer does not officially arrive until June 21st, but beach season’s about to begin.
Nine of the City of Toronto’s 11 beaches will officially open Saturday June 2.
Bluffer’s Park (Blue Flag)
Centre Island (Blue Flag)
Cherry / Clarke (Blue Flag)
Gibraltar Point (Blue Flag)
Hanlan’s Point (Blue Flag)
Ward’s Island (Blue Flag)
Kew-Balmy (Blue Flag)
Woodbine (Blue Flag)
Sunnyside
All but Sunnyside have been awarded Blue Flag certification, meeting high standards for water quality.
Lifeguards will be on duty between 11:30am – 6:30pm until Labour Day.
The remaining two city beaches – Marie Curtis East and Rouge open June 16th.
