The Canadian Radio television and Telecommunications Commission, the industry regulator, is to investigate and report on alleged ”misleading and or aggressive” sales practices by the largest telecom companies.
One Rogers employee’s admitted to not telling mostly older customers about added fees and to sneaking extra products or services onto a bill.
The CRTC has until the end of February to complete its investigation and propose potential solutions.
