The iconic sports car, which features an engine built in Windsor, was launched in 1964.
The original VIN 1 that debuted 54-years ago at the New York World’s Fair was a Wimbledon White, automatic convertible, the same as the 10-millionth one.
The original ’64 Mustang sold for $2,368 U.S.
FORD sold 81,000 in North American last year but has seen sales growth overseas since it began exporting it in 2015.
Mustang’s been the best selling sports car in the world the last three years.
