Bernier says it’ll still take time to register the party with Elections Canada, but that so far has raised $140,000, and that the PPC will have 338 candidates.
Bernier announced he was leaving the ”intellectually and morally corrupt the Conservative Party late last month to start his own movement.
PC Leader Andrew Scheer, who narrowly beat Bernier at last year’s leadership convention, will meet with Bernier when the Commons resumes Monday after the summer break.
