While admitting to fatally stabbing a stranger, 28-year-old Rosemarie Junor, in a drug store in Toronto’s PATH system, Rohinie Bisesar has also pleaded not guilty in court.
 Bisesar (L), Junor (R)  / Toronto Police
Lawyers for the defence and Crown agree she was not criminally responsible due to mental illness.
A forensic psychiatrist, testifying for the defence, told court Bisesar has schizophrenia and lived with severe delusions and hallucinations.
Dr. Ian Swayze says she suffered from ”fixed false beliefs” that she was under the control of mind control devices or nanotehcnology at the time of the stabbing.
He adds it’s hard sometimes for the public to accept the severity of mental health issues in cases where the accused is believed not to be criminally responsible.
The judge will deliver his ruling Tuesday.
