A work of art called “Pool with Two Figures,” painted in 1972, has sold for what’s being called the most ever for a work by a living artist.
The piece, by British painter David Hockney, was auctioned off by Sotheby’s last night in New York.
With premiums added in, the final sale price $100-million Canadian dollars.
