Five boys turned themselves into police while a sixth was arrested on the way to school this morning.

Each one faces charges of assault, gang sexual assault and assault with a weapon in relation to a video of an alleged sexual assault.

Distribution of child porn charges may also be laid at a later date.   

The teens appeared in youth court this afternoon.  

The two 14-year-olds and four 15-year-olds were released on bail to their parents and are to return to court December 19.

The principal of St. Michael’s College School says he did not notify police immediately last Monday evening of a video of the alleged sexual assault.

The school reported it to police Wednesday. 

Eight students have been expelled and one suspended.

A total of two alleged sexual assaults and two alleged assaults are now being investigated.

Police believe there are four separate victims and that there may be more incidents that have not been reported.
