Legendary Toronto actress Jayne Eastwood is to be honoured by ACTRA Toronto with its Award of Excellence.

The 71 year old has appeared in movies like “Chicago,” “Hairspray” and “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” but it was the seminal 1970 Canadian film, “Going Down the Road’ that launched it all.  She played Betty.

Eastwood is a Gemini Award winner and has been honoured with the Earle Grey Award for lifetime achievement.

The Award of excellence will be presented February 23rd.
