The Sunshine List, which names all provincial public sector workers with salaries of $100,000 or more, grew last year by more than 19,000.
Topping the list of 151,197 names is Ontario Power Generation CEO Jeffrey Lyash, who made $1.7-million.
It’s the third straight year he was atop the list, but Lyash is leaving the job later this week.
Four of the top 10 earners on the list worked for OPG.
There are no women among the top ten.
Toronto Mayor John Tory made $192,488 last year, Police Chief Mark Saunders $344,397, Premier Doug Ford $112,770, his chief of staff Dean French $153,156.
When last year’s list was released, Ford, then opposition leader, called it the list of Ontario’s richest political insiders.
The $100,000 threshold has not changed since 1996, when the list first came out.
