Soon after the release of Special Counsel Bob Mueller’s 448-page redacted report on the Russia probe, Donald Trump said he was ”having a good day.”
Speaking at an unrelated White House event, the president said ”It was called no collusion, no obstruction.  There never was, by the way, and there never will be.”
Trump also renewed calls for an investigation into the origins of the inquiry.

While it found no evidence of active co-ordination or conspiracy between Trump’s presidential campaign and was inconclusive on the question of obstruction, the report shows effect the Mueller’s inquiry had on the president.
According to those in the Oval Office, when Trump learned a special counsel had been appointed in 2017, he slumped in his chair, uttered profanity and commented the probe was the worst thing to ever happen to him.
”Oh my God.  This is terrible.  This is the end of my presidency.  I’m ——,” the president said in notes quoted in the report.
Mueller’s investigation has led to 37 indictments, 199 criminal charges and five guilty please, including from Trump’s former campaign chair, Paul Manafort.
