Parents, grandparents and other relatives are on standby as more than 8,000 students across Toronto might need to find another way to get to school on Thursday as their bus drivers consider whether to get behind the wheel.
The Toronto District and Toronto Catholic District School Boards have received notice from Stock Transportation that drivers in two of the divisions, north and east, will be in a legal strike position in two days.
Negotiations are continuing between Stock and its unions.
A strike would affect about 4,105 TDSB students and 4,235 across the TCDSB.
Further updates will be posted on the boards’ Twitter accounts and websites.
