Tim Conway, a member of ”The Carol Burnett Show” troupe and star of several Disney film comedies in the 1970s, has died from water on the brain.

He was 85.

Nominated for 13 Emmys, Conway won six, including four for ”The Carole Burnett Show” — three for supporting performer and once as part of the show’s writing staff.

”Carole Burnett’ ran for 11 seasons from 1967-78 and included Burnett, Conway, Harvey Korman, Lyle Waggoner and Vicki Lawrence.

”I’m heartbroken.  He was one in a million, not only as a brilliant comedian but as a loving human being,” said Burnett in a statement.

”I cherish the times we had together both on the screen and off.  He’ll be in my heart forever.”

Vicki Lawrence says she’s so lucky to ever have shared a stage with him.

”Harvey and Tim are together again … the angels are laughing out loud tonight.”

Conway’s career was launched by the World War II-set sitcom ”McHale’s Navy,” starring Ernest Borgnine.

Conway plays Ensign Charles Parker on the series which ran from 1962-66 as well as the two films based on it.
