Everyone who lives in Toronto Community Housing will benefit in John Tory’s view.
The mayor says the ”tenants first implementation plan,” approved by city council, will result in better living conditions for all tenants.
A key part of the plan is the creation of a new seniors housing corporation that will manage and operate 83 seniors’ buildings, starting with 10 next years.
”This will be an organization with a laser-like focus on caring for the 27,000 seniors who live in Toronto Community Housing right now,” says Tory.
